Purcari Wine Tour

Purcari, founded in 1827, was the first private winery in the Purcari Wine Region. Purcari's wines entered Bessarabia in 1847 during the agriculture. Purcari won the Gold Medal in Exposition Universelle (1878) in Paris. The winery was under the control of a Soviet government, and production ceased for 10 years when the Soviet Union collapsed. In 2003, Purcari wines were reestablished after the administration of the Vinaria Purcari Company.

Historic Bender Castle & Traspol Tour
